PULSE

Field operations, done on-site.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 July 2026

Pulse is a private, invite-only mobile and web application used by field crews and supervisors to run jobs, complete pre-operations and safety checklists, log maintenance, and submit records for approval. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have.

Pulse is operated by Marshall Courchaine ("Pulse", "we", "us"), who acts as the data controller for the app. Accounts are provisioned by the organization that deploys Pulse to its personnel; that organization directs how the app is used within its operations.

How we use information

We use the information above solely to operate the app for authorized personnel:

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating Pulse.

Push notifications

Push notifications are optional. Pulse only requests notification permission after you sign in, works fully if you decline, and you can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

Where your information is stored

Pulse relies on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

Data is encrypted in transit, and the app pins its server certificates to guard against interception. These providers are bound by their own security and privacy commitments and may only process data to provide their service to us.

How information is shared

We share information only:

We never sell your personal information and never share it with data brokers or advertisers.

Account creation and deletion

Pulse has no public sign-up. Accounts are created and managed exclusively by your organization's administrator. To access, correct, or delete your account and the personal data associated with it, contact your administrator — they can fully erase your personal data and permanently delete your login. If you are unable to reach your administrator, contact us using the details below and we will help.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your organization requires it for its operations and to meet legal obligations, and remove it on your administrator's request. Crash diagnostics are retained only as long as needed to investigate issues.

Your choices and rights

Children

Pulse is an occupational tool for authorized adult personnel and is not directed to, or intended for, children.

Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, certificate pinning, access controls, and audit logging — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated through the app.
